Alan and Catherine Rigg are Electric Rose
Alan Rigg is a versatile electric and acoustic guitarist and vocalist.
His musical roots come from the great Pub Rock era. Alan toured Australia and New Zealand as a member of many popular bands
including Route 66, Bad to the Bone
and The Phil Emmanuel Band. In recent years, Alan has opted for the more intimate
style of duo performance, and has played at countless venues and functions. Alan’s musical style includes Rolling Stones,
Van Morrison, swing jazz, Beatles and Green Day. Alan is the “king of requests”,
due to his extensive repertoire.
Catherine Rigg is a talented vocalist who has developed a wide-ranging
repertoire, since her entry onto the musical scene. She has performed with several gospel groups and is now a vocalist and
percussionist in the duo, Electric Rose. Catherine’s repertoire includes pop, ballads, jazz, blues and rock.
She is an enigmatic public speaker and is skilled in managing large events. Her gentle voice will melt your heart during a
love song, but when she rocks, her fire and passion will get you up onto the dance floor.
Alan and Catherine have performed together as Electric Rose at
many functions including birthdays, engagements, weddings and Christmas parties and also at hotels and clubs in Sydney and
on the Central Coast.
